I finally took the time to do what makes me happy! My favorite thing to decorate at Christmas is my fireplace mantel. I decided to switch it up a little bit again this year! Check out my latest blog post to see what I added and where I found it. What is your favorite part of holiday decorating?
Did you know you don’t have to tape off your windows when you are painting them? Just paint and use glass cleaner and a razor blade to clean them up afterwards! Such a time saver for me!! These cranky Lupus hands are all about shortcuts...💕
Slowly making progress on the kitchen. You know me- little by little. Living and working with chronic illness and pain makes everything a tad bit different for us, sometimes our timelines aren’t like everyone else’s. I’m not going to lie, I never dreamed it would be a year and a half since we started this kitchen re-do before I got to this point. Life and work can really throw some curveballs at you. Mandatory overtime and co-co 3 times both have really slowed my progress but I’m finally starting to see that light at the end of the tunnel. Now the Hubby is going to kill me, but I’m not sure I’m still into an all white kitchen anymore...What about an earthy olive green for the lower cabinets? Don’t tell him I said that!!
Flashback to my first big project! This one was a hard one for me. I lived in this house for twenty years feeling like I HAD to keep this fireplace exactly as it was because it was original. It took my Hubby twisting my arm a bit to convince me to make the change. Have you ever had something in your home or in your life like that?
